Farrukh Jaffar began her Bollywood career in 1981’s Umrao Jaan, in which she donned the role of Rekha’s mother Farrukh Jaffar, the veteran actress died on Friday night in a hospital in Lucknow. Known for her performance in Gulabo Sitabo and Sultan, Farrukh was admitted to the hospital for breathlessness issues.
